Recent Figures Cancellation
So ugh, this post hasnt got anything positive, except that its going to save me some money. I recently reviewed all my current orders for the upcoming months and decided to cancel some orders. Money issue is the main reason and i think most of you have been in that position before ;_;
To add more misery when AFA’10 was announced to be held in Singapore this year, I need to try and save up as much as possible. Of course cancelling an order is hard, so i have to thank Amiami for understanding my situation and go ahead with the batch to be removed in my orders.
Lets go through the figures that now i have to wish for ;;
Bakemonogatari Hitagi Senjyogahara Complete Figure[Kotobukiya]
Nendoroid Loveplus Manaka Takane Complete Figure[Good Smile Company]
Nendoroid Loveplus Nene Anegasaki Complete Figure[Good Smile Company]
Nendoroid Loveplus Rinko Kobayakawa Complete Figure[Good Smile Company]
Nendoroid Petite Angel Beats Set 01 Yuri/Shiina/Yusa[Good Smile Company]
Of course it was hard to decide, since those figures were quite high on my priorities, well most of them are anyways. Now ill look through blogs/reviews on them in hope that in the futur i might be able to get them. Have you experience this stage of cancelling figures?
I never experience this problem…because I never ordered any new figures before.
Hence the maniacal saving spree.

these Loveplus nendo’s are really cute,Shina is also very nice,I considered to get her but since Im not interested in the orther two chara’s I hadn’t.
so far I’ve never canceld an order.
Im very picky with my figures when I’m not 90% certain about one I won’t order the figure.
ok sometimes I have impulse buys, too.But Im trying to refrain myself from ordering too much
I also have a bad feeling when I have too many open preorders ;D

I should follow your way of doing… impulsive buying, thats what i did, and now ended up cancelling them =/ Those loveplus nendos are so cute >.<
haha i had a bad feeling last week whe i saw all my orders, as far as i know. even after cancellation, October is going to be an expensive month. =/

I know how you feel, I had to do this earlier this year. No matter how I look at it, October is the worst month for figure collectors!

Indeed it is quite somber to cancel orders. Although on the bright side, most are Nendos making it relatively easy to acquire them at a more convenient time.

Yeah I’ve been there a few times.. Some of them never got re-ordered again and others I ended up going back and getting eventually. It’s never fun to cancel orders but sometimes we just don’t have much of a choice.

It sucks to have to cancel orders, but I’m sure you’ll be able to acquire them at a later if you so desire (maybe at an even lower price!).

That sure sucks…I have had times where I thought long and hard about canceling some orders, in the end I never did and I am glad that I didn’t. Sure my funds are low but it’s worth it.
So what do you have on order right now? I don’t think you canceled everything. I would be interested to see what you are ordering.

What ill be receiving will be Misaka Mikoto PVC and the touhou project petit :3
I should also be receiving but not in the same shipment, Nodoka Manabe figma ^^
From now on i think ill have to limit my buys, but i always do anyway, i guess these figures above was impulsive buying lol ^^

Yeah, it is pretty hard to decide what to prioritize and cancel especially when the figure that you are looking forward to is included.. why do we geeks love collecting stuffs made of plastics, I wonder. lol

I hear you on that buddy, I just did a wave of cancellations a few weeks ago. I’m going to try and limit myself to pre-ordering less figures. So far I’m doing pretty well, but I need to be careful to not slip again and end up with more orders than I should try and afford.
