The Anisong concert kicked started this Friday night at the Suntec Convention here in Singapore and for the first time in Asia, AFA welcomes Hatsune Miku and friends who performed in front of a full house! The Hatsune Miku concert was a sequel to the most recent live production in Sapporo in August 2011, which pushed the Miku experience to the next level. She and the other members such as Megurine Luka, and the Twins Rin and Len Kagamine was accompanied by the five live musicians. The holographic 3D Hatsune Miku who dances, and sings on stage, is as if she is alive.
The concert was presented by AFA11 and Cool Japan Project, Toyota Tsusho Singapore. It was really what we needed, a good way to kick start the AFA11 adventure. Hatsune Miku surely has a huge fan base not only in japan but around the world, it was mentioned that she is most probably more known than the Prime minister of Japan himself! In my experience, i enjoyed every minute of it, the crowd was amazing and the band really gave us that extra push of excitment. What was also special was that we manage to see Hatsune Miku and Rin wearing different costumes for each song which was really great. After the concert, i feel that my liking for Hatsune Miku has grown, each songs she sang was received with roars of excitment and joy haha!
I do hope more and more countries with those fans can get the opportunity to have such concert, it is really a different experience. May Hatsune Miku live on! Also Thank you AFA11 and Cool Japan Project, Toyota Tsusho Singapore and most importantly Crypton Future Media, Inc for giving us this amazing concert!
