The Adventures of Travelling Holo

The Adventures of Travelling Holo (“Project Holo” in short) is a travel project put together by Fabrice, Kelsey and Wibi. The Project’s aim is for Fabrice and co. to take photographs of various landmarks during their holiday travels with a cardboard cut-out of Holo, a fictional wolf character in the foreground for a photo album. During the summer of 2011, Holo started her visit on The Great Wall of China in Beijing and then went on to visit many other beautiful landmarks in Bali, Indonesia and Singapore finishing off in the city of Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo in Japan.

The Project takes reference from the US movie Up in the Air where George Clooney‘s character Ryan Bingham is also seen lugging around a cardboard cut-out of his sister and her fiancé and photographs it in front of various landmarks as he jets around the US. Other influences include the Japanese anime Durarara!! where the cardboard cut-out of Holo in question makes an appearance in the first episode.
